Welcome to the 2mm/6mm Dropship Sculpting Page

It's quite clear that any sci-fi force needs a dropship. I have always loved the style of the spaceships in the film "Dune" and decided that for my big 2mm anime style dropship to use a similar layout.

After my usual concept sketch attempts I set about finding something to provide the main hull of the dropship. I came across some wooden beads and set about attaching metal tubes to the wooden bead. I drilled through the bead and passes a thick piece of wire through the middle to strengthen the stick out tube pieces.

I've got as far as adding some detail to the front of the main hull including the cargo bay doors right at the front. I may also do a ramp that fits on the front for vehicles to get in and out.
